The Electrical Engineering sector deals with both the topics of electromagnetic fields and electrical/electronic circuits with applications to civil engineering, industrial engineering and information engineering.

Referring to the topic of electromagnetic fields, the sector analyses electromagnetic compatibility, RFID applications, wireless communications and modeling of electrical/magnetic materials.

Referring to the topic of electrical/electronic circuits, the sector analyses analogic circuits, digital circuits, power electronic circuits, microcontroller devices and chip design. The two topics are applied to the design of electrical/electronic devices, signal processing networks, artificial intelligence systems and renewable energy infrastructures.
